This spacious single-family residence in Pinecrest was envisioned as a clean, modern home softened by warmth, comfort, and thoughtful detail. Our scope combined furniture and décor selections with window treatments, wallpaper accents, and—most importantly—custom millwork. Working in close collaboration with the clients, we translated their desire for a refined modern look into spaces that feel elevated yet livable. Neutral textures, warm oak tones, and versatile furnishings ensure that the interiors remain contemporary without ever feeling cold.
The formal living room sets the tone for the home with a pair of matching sofas facing each other, creating symmetry and a welcoming sense of arrival. In the dining room, a custom porcelain table anchors the space, perfectly balanced with the dining chairs, statement light fixture, and grand sideboard. Soft sheer curtains frame the room, adding an airy elegance.
The family room became a favorite highlight of the project, as it presented a unique challenge: the TV area felt undersized while the breakfast nook was too expansive. Through a re-imagined layout and a custom built-in that seamlessly bridges a passageway, we reshaped the distribution and achieved a balanced, functional flow.
The office showcases another custom built-in designed around an inherited Eames chair, allowing a personal piece of history to blend effortlessly into the modern scheme. Outdoors, the spaces are kept simple but far from plain, emphasizing an uncomplicated lifestyle where the family can enjoy relaxation and togetherness.
With minimal construction yet highly intentional design choices, this residence was brought together as a polished, cohesive ensemble—proof that thoughtful details and well-curated interventions can transform a house into a harmonious home.
